Kate Moss denies claim Johnny Depp pushed her down stairs
WARNING: This live blog contains allegations of physical and sexual violence that some readers may find distressing.
Heard is being sued by Depp for $50m for implying he abused her in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed. Although she didn’t name him, he claims her allegations impacted his ability to work. She is pursuing a counterclaim of $100m, of which a motion to dismiss was denied by Judge Penney Azcarate.
Supermodel and Depp-ex Kate Moss testified that during her relationship with the actor in the 1990s he did not push her down the stairs as had been rumoured and mentioned by Heard in testimony.
On Tuesday rebuttal witnesses countered the testimony of expert witnesses put forward in Heard’s defence concerning her alleged loss of earnings and his mental health. A different account of the 2013 Hicksville Trailer Palace incident was also heard by the court and a former friend of Heard’s sister said she believed it was “something very wrong” to support the claims against Depp.
Closing arguments are scheduled for Friday.
Who is left to testify?
Witnesses left on the Depp rebuttal list after Dr Curry are:
Dr Kimberly Collins, a forensic pathologist; an ex-TMZ employee (though there is a motion to prevent them from testifying); a flight attendant; and Depp himself.

Kate Moss denies rumour Johnny Depp pushed her down the stairs
In one of the briefest pieces of testimony in the entire trial, Kate Moss confirms she had a romantic relationship with Depp between 1994 and 1998 and says he did not push her downstairs during a vacation the couple took.
She says she slipped on wet steps and hurt her back and Depp got her medical attention.
Moss says Depp never pushed her down any steps.

Why is Kate Moss expected to testify?
Ms Moss’ name came up in the courtroom earlier this month during Ms Heard’s testimony, when she described a time that Mr Depp allegedly “[swung] at” her sister while she had her back to a staircase.
Ms Heard said this reminded her of another incident during which she alleges Mr Depp pushed Ms Moss down stairs while they were dating in the 1990s.
“I just, in my head, instantly think of Kate Moss and stairs,” Ms Heard said.
After Ms Heard mentioned Ms Moss in her testimony as part of the US case, Mr Depp’s attorney Ben Chew was seen giving an apparent fist pump, prompting speculation that the mention of Ms Moss could benefit Mr Depp’s legal team in some way.
