PAK vs ENG: ” I Will Be Donating My Match Fees From This Test Series To The Pakistan Flood Appeal”- Ben Stokes

England Cricket Team is all set to clash against Pakistan for the 1st Test Match on 1st December (Thursday). The Men in Green would be quite happy as England is going to play Test Series in Pakistan after 2005-06. Skipper Ben Stokes has a strenuous task on his hands as it is his first overseas assignment.

The Men in Green would be well aware of the fact that England would be aggressive in their approach; which can work in their favor as pitches and conditions won’t be that batting-friendly. England needs to be spot-on with their game plan as winning in Pakistan won’t be easy.

Ben Stokes on Flood

Ben Stokes took to his Twitter handle and made some interesting comments on flood victims.” There is a sense of responsibility amongst the playing and support group and to be here is special. The floods that devastated Pakistan earlier this year was very sad to see and has had significant impact on the country and the people.” said Ben Stokes

“The game has given me a lot in my life and I feel it’s only right to give something back that goes far beyond cricket. I will be donating my match fees from this Test Series to the Pakistan Flood Appeal. Hopefully, this donation can go towards the rebuilding of areas of Pakistan most affected by the flooding.” he added.

Great Contest on Cards

England and Pakistan are facing off after a span of 17 years in Pakistan; as we can expect a thrilling series. Both the teams are evenly matched. England’s arsenal is their batting where they would be keen to score 400 runs while batting first.

Pakistan on the other hand would be well aware that England has got nothing to lose as they are out of the World Test Championship Cycle (WTC 2021-23). Skipper Babar Azam will have to make sure that he sticks to the crease and plays long and effective innings  for the team.
