Schools reopen in Chandigarh, Panchkula, Mohali after scare over Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease

The schools in trinity Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali, which were closed due to the contagious Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease, have resumed to normal for the last two weeks now.

The schools in trinity Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali, which were closed due to the contagious Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD), have already resumed for the last two weeks.

Rajesh Malik, a resident from Chandigarh, while talking to India Today, said that two weeks ago some cases were reported in Mohali Private school and at that time, as a precautionary measure, schools were closed.

Rajesh Malik said that online classes have started and now things are back to normal again.

Two weeks ago, around 24 cases of the highly contagious Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease were reported in Tricity.
